Adrian Scott, Howard Fast to Speak at Rally

Adrian Scott, who will begin serving his sentence Friday as one of the Hollywood 10, will speak at the Freedom Road Meeting at the Hotel Capitol on Wednesday evening. The meeting was called by the National Council of the Arts, Sciences and Professions.
The screen-writer producer will share the platform with Howard Fast, distinguished novelist who has just completed a three-month prison term for similar "contempt" charges. This will be Fast's first public statement since his release.
Songs and a dramatic production will also be presented. The chairman of the meeting will be Prof. Edwin Berry Bergum.
Tickets are now on sale at the ASP office, 49 West 44th St., MU 7-2161
